mbed port

Hello folks,
I'm glad to announce that eLua is running fine on the mbed (http://www.lpctools.com/mbed.aspx) under the equator too ! :)
James Snyder is working on this port and we have the basic modules working already. He had commited it to trunk a while ago, tested it under MacOS X and Windows and today we fixed it to work under Linux here.
It will light my VFDs in a few moments :) and we'll release some more videos soon.

Best
Dado

Re: mbed port

Cool!! mbed is a real promising platform and using it without the web interface (and in lua! ) is just great !

Best,

Re: mbed port

Yeap,
But be ready to use it with yet another web service very soon :), an online build system for all supported targets, with any of the working toolchains, where you'll be able to easily configure all the building options of eLua, manage your files for the ROM file system and immediately download your binary image.
I am ready to offer access accounts for those who are interested in trying and helping to test the current Beta. Pls contact me in pvt for this. We'll announce and publish the very next version of the current development of this "eLua Web Builder" service.

Best
Dado

Re: mbed port

I've added a status page over at the mbed site where I'll likely add
comments as adjustments to the port progress:
