XModem on STR-E912

Hello,
   Is someone there successfully using XModem transfer on an STR-E912 board ?
   Mine sends the first "C" back but stops right after.

Hyperterminal, on a Win XP VM under VMWare. This works fine for LM3S boards.
The terminal blocks in a strange way. The first "C" is shown and it locks. If we press enter (send a single CR), it echos one "C" for each enter. But the transfer doesn't go thru.
