ANNOUNCEMENT: trunk unlock for development

Hi,

As I realized that 0.6 is taking much longer than expected, I also realized that it's not OK to keep the trunk locked for so long, so I'm going to do all the work for 0,6 on a separate branch and leave the trunk alone. So, feel free to commit your craziest ideas on trunk :)
